Key Clubhouse is a psychosocial recovery program for people living with serious mental illnesses. I led the communications unit where I guided our members to learn video and media skills by creating a weekly newscast, a newsletter, social media posts, and professional quality videos for fundraising events.
I guided our members in the creation of videos that secured over $100k in grants and more than $35k in donations.
My direct and empathetic skills allowed me to develop a safe place for creative expression.
Fundraising with community made videos
This video was created by the members of the clubhouse under my direct supervision and guidance. It was used for the organization’s 2023 luncheon where we were able to fundraise over $15k successfully! It showcases member’s life stories and the impact that the clubhouse has had on the mental well-being.
